A Short and Slightly Racist Synopsis of Saturday Night

The Indian guy grabbed my breasts repeatedly and tried to kiss me.

The Middle-Eastern guy commanded me to spread my legs and pulled my hair.

The Mexican guy tried to get 2 dances for the price of one.

The elderly White guy tried to convince me to vote Republican.

The African-American guy wasn’t there, I work in Beaverton.

I’m going to 86 the White guy.

“So do you like big guys?”

“Um…” I had no idea where he was going with this.

“Big guys like me?” He considers himself “big”? Amazing! He is round, definitely, but hardly what I’d call big. Round and short like a ball, not big like a tree (that I’d like to climb). His body had always reminded…

Today was not the first time I’ve cried alone to Amy Winehouse… and probably not the last.

    Yes.

Amy Winehouse. Man. What a sad story. Too bad you can’t read Twitter when you’re sad about a famous person who died, because people are callous assholes who think it’s edgy to be the first to make a meanspirited comment about a dead celebrity.

You know what really pissed us off, though? The…

clubpatron asked: Okay, so I'm asking all the dancers I can find this same question. Call it a survey, if you like:

Have you ever become real friends with a customer in a club?

There are certainly some male customers that I spend time with (at my club) on a regular basis that I consider friends which to me means that I have a lot of respect for them and don’t try to “hustle”.  But, being a married woman, I don’t spend time with men outside of my club.  Women, however, are a different story.  I’ve become friends with two different women who were regular customers.  They came in with their “man” who either bought dances from me or paid me to dance with their wife/girlfriend.  After a while (as in 6 months or more) we exchanged numbers and went out to coffee or whatever.  I took me a while to give both of these women my number because I first had to determine whether I could trust not only them but also their men.  Letting someone into your “outside” life is a huge deal for me; they discover your real name, where you live, the names of your kids…  But my two customer-turned-besties are really wonderful, supportive and open-minded women who love to hear me talk about the stripper life.  I’m really lucky to have them as friends. ;)
